Birgit and Rebecca are delighted to invite you to the Joyful Summer Retreat in Austria!
The retreat will take place from 8 to 12 July 2026 (alternative arrival on 9 July possible) in a beautiful retreat house set in the midst of the Austrian countryside – surrounded by gentle hills, forests, and seclusion.
The retreat is held under the motto: Joy, Joy, Joy! The days will be filled with meditation, kirtan, Hatha Yoga, hikes in the surrounding hills, and relaxing moments in the garden. The focus is on simplicity, connection, and nourishing time spent in nature. Families are very warmly welcome!
Those arriving on 8 July can practice Karma Yoga: the house will be prepared and cleaned together – a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the calm and quiet of the place and spend an extra day with God and Guru.
The retreat house is provided by a devotee and offers a very personal and cozy atmosphere. Around 10–14 people can be accommodated in shared rooms (2–4 people; there are three double beds), and there is plenty of space for camping on the spacious grounds.
The retreat is easily reachable by train (from St. Pölten to “Steinschal-Tradigist”). From there it is about 1.4 km walking distance to the house; a shuttle can be arranged. Parking is also available for cars and campers.
The recommended donation for accommodation is €80 (family rates available on request),
plus a flat fee of approximately €60 per person for meals (children free).
