Dear fellow devotes,
We warmly invite you to join us for our “Chapel- Retreat”, in the East of France, from the 7th to the 11th of June 2018. You are welcome to stay for a shorter period if that’s more suitable for you.
The retreat will take place close to the “Notre Dame du Haut” Chapel, in the quiet town of Ronchamp !
We will be staying in a big house which belongs to the parish. The house can accommodate up to 8 persons.
During the retreat, we will meditate together, sing kirtan, prepare meals and enjoy outings. The area has many beautiful sights to discover such as lakes and waterfalls.
The ‘Notre-Dame du Haut’ Hill is a short walk away, up the old pilgrimage path through the forest. There, we can enjoy the modern Chapel and its stillness. There is also a beautiful Monastery next to it, where franciscan nuns live. They have a very special prayer room, “l’Oratoire”, with wonderful vibrations.
Those buildings are also of great interest to those curious about architecture as the Chapel was constructed by the Swiss architect Le Corbusier in 1955.
All in all, many beautiful spots to inspire our meditations…

- From the airport, short bus journey to Saint Louis Gare (to be purchased at airport)

We have slight issues with railway strikes sometimes in France, we have a car, and can pick you up if something unexpected happens. It’s also possible to book a car from the airport.

Retreat Costs:
About € 60 per person for food and housing for the retreat.
